The Fore Amigos was founded in 2025 when a group of friends decided that going on golf trips was a lot more fun than just talking about them! Based in Raleigh, NC, we are a golf-obsessed, fun-loving group of guys dedicated to building a thriving golfing community while playing all of the top 100 public golf courses in the U.S.
Albert "The Always-In Amigo"
The All-In Amigo is the human embodiment of “YOLO” in golf shoes, a true icon in the golfing community. He’s the guy who agrees to every challenge, signs up for every tournament, and somehow ends up with three fantasy golf leagues. He once tried to chip in from the parking lot — and almost made it. Almost.
But here’s the thing: his commitment is legendary. Rain or shine, birdie or snowman, he’s all in — for the game, for the group, and for the glory (even if it’s just bragging rights at the clubhouse). His enthusiasm for the sport even extends to playing at some of the top 100 public golf courses out there.
He’s not just part of The Fore Amigos — he’s the reason we have a group text titled “Are You Sure About This?”.
Donald "The Premier Amigo"
At the center of it all is The Premier Amigo — our self-proclaimed leader and the most confident swing on the course. Whether he's reading greens like a seasoned pro at one of the top 100 public golf courses or calling his shot from 200 yards out, he brings an energy that keeps the golfing community sharp and the round entertaining. His confidence? Unshakable. His predictions? Bold. His follow-through? Well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. But what truly sets The Premier Amigo apart is his passion — for the game, for the group, and for making every round feel like a championship Sunday. He’s the one who rallies the crew, sets the tone, and reminds us why we play: not just to win, but to enjoy the ride.
Juan "The Grumpy Amigo"
Some say the glass is half empty, others say it’s half full—he simply asks, “Who drank my water?” Known among the golfing community as one of the Fore Amigos for his charming grumbles and world-class side-eye, he brings a splash of salty wisdom to every round of golf.
Don’t let the scowl fool you though—place him on a top 100 public golf course with his buddies, and suddenly he’s grinning like he just sank a 40-foot birdie. Oh wait... he did.
Crowned Champion of the Inaugural Fore Amigos Invitational, he accepts the title with a signature blend of humor and humility.
Juan Carlos "The Platinum Amigo"
Frequent flier, fairway chaser, and platinum-status connoisseur in the golfing community. Some call it luck; he calls it platinum status. Whether it's free room upgrades, surprise desert trays, or getting bumped to first class before his boarding group is even called, he somehow always lands in the good seats (even if his drives don't). Hotel staff greet him like he owns the place; flight crews know his drink order before he sits down, and a TSA agent once asked for a swing tip. And yes, even his golf bag has lounge access, reflecting his adventures across the top 100 public golf courses.
